I started with a midsize (tacoma), then went to a Dodge Ram (needed the towing capacity). After about 3 years, we weren't towing on a regular basis and didn't feel the need to keep the Ram (too big, gas consumption). So - got myself back into a tacoma again.

All I ever owner were full size trucks. Had a 92 GMC ext cab, a 01 silverado ext cab, a 04 ram quad all 4 wheel drive. when I moved to Florida from Wisconsin I bought a double cab Pre Runner and this has been my favorite truck ever!

Tacoma - Flowmaster cat-back exhaust, volant cold air intake, 3" lift with AAL, 285/75 r 16 pro comp xterrains, 1" differential drop, spare tire mod, hypertech in-line speedometer calibrator, debadged
My last vehicle was a 94 blazer with 4" suspension and 3" body lift with 35" BFG MT. It had a 5.7L V8 which drank gas. After it hit 235,000 miles, I decided to get the taco. I miss the blazer, but even after lifting my taco and the much higher gas prices the taco is still cheaper to drive, so I'm very happy with the change.

Came out of a '04 F-150 Lariat to a DC LB Taco. I miss the size of a full-size for sure and alot of other stuff like the luxury a highend F-150 offers but I need a truck right now that offers EXCELLENT reliabilty as I am just about done putting in my weekend house in the middle of nowhere Nevada. I don't want to break own 2 hours away from civilization...I may bump up to the Tundra in a few years.

My "town"...closest place with a mechanic is Las Vegas, about 2 hours away.

I went from a 66 chevy p/u to a 97 tacoma. The Tacoma was a nice step up. I now have an 08 DC LB Tacoma. Another nice step up.

I went from a fully loaded 2004 F150 FX4 supercrew to a 2008 access cab trd off road 4x4. I loved the F150, it was a great truck with every available option from the factory, but I really didn't need that much truck. So when I decided it was time for a new truck I decided to go midsize, and I don't regret a thing. The Tacoma rides better, its faster, and I really enjoy the size of it. It has exceeded my expectations in every way.

I went from an 03 silverado extended cab, to a reg cab taco. I miss the room...I could get 6 people in the old truck, milage wasnt too bad, but it had so many issues (dash was replaced 6 times, 8 recalls, strange noises, radio died 2 times,) and it was just about time to do a brake job, tire replacement, exhaust and battery, so it turned out to be a good time to 'upgrade' to a more reliable truck. So far Im very happy about the decision.:D
