    if you search around here, you will find OEM cabin filters for like $4/each...

    Think I'll order a couple of the $4 ones...

    Still can't decide on engine air filter, though... I've always run a CAI on my other trucks, but can't afford one right now... What about just a fram or similar?

    Instead of a Fram, why not a Toyota? Denso Toyota filters are supposed to be pretty good, and the last one I bought was made in USA.

    They were ~$25 at the dealership...

    At that price, I would rather spend $50 on an AFE Pro dry reusable...

    They are expensive, but people seem to think they are worth the premium. They do seem very nice, but I have not compared them to Fram or the other aftermarket makers.

    I certainly understand that thought.

    TRDparts4u.com typically has the best prices on genuine Toyota parts. I order oil filters bulk from them. I'd say stay with genuine Toyota filters. They don't look as sexy as some of the aftermarket stuff, but Toyota knows what the fuck they're doing in the engineering department. If you compare the OEM stuff to aftermarket stuff, you'll notice how much more filter element there is in the Denso items.

    For air, I have the re-usable TRD CAI, which is just washed/re-oiled as needed. You hear a lot of griping about "over oiling", but you have to be clueless to do it. I just gave it its first clean a couple weeks ago and it's a cinch if you use some common sense.
