    I really don't want a remote start sounds like more gas to waste while I'm not in it and I love my manual so it doesn't bother me

    You probably have one of the systems that have a rolling code, it changes the code every now and then automatically.

    Have you used the garage door opener to open and close the garage?


    If you don't have the install booklet, look up the model on the manufacturers website and it should tell you if the security includes rolling code feature and how often it resets

    I use to drive a car that was equiped wit a 2 way radio, and it used to set off car alarms and open doors that had sensors. it was cool cuz I would sit there for 20 minutes f#$king with people. :D That actually when I realized when you are driving through a blast zone that you REALLY do have to shut it off. :eek:
