Tacoma access cab sport price

Hey guys so Ive been going back and forth on what I want and I think Ive decided on an 08 speedway blue w/ sport pkg + tow pkg. I emailed the dealer with the edmunds info (TMV $22,149) he emailed me the "out the door" price of $24,149, tax, lic. reg. etc included. What do you guys think of that price?

Is it auto/manual, SR5 package etc? did your edmunds price include all the options the dealer is offering. Even without the answer the price sounds good.

 

Yeah, got mine 26 out the door, and it's Manual. Believe Autos should be more, so yeah good deal...

Anyone ever try to make a dealer throw in an Ipod hookup for free? How'd it work out?

 

You should be able to do better than that. Did You know Toyota is offering a $2,000 rebate until the end of July on an 08 Tacoma? Basically the dealer is probably counting the rebate so you would be paying full retail. Do not let them push you around. Keep trying for the your original offer plus the ipod hookup. Also pit them against other dealers. Another TW person did this on my suggestion, he got it for what he wanted.

I did it with your options & my zip code(didn't know yours), Invoice: $23,544 minus $2,000 rebate = $21,544 this is what you should pay or close to this!

Insert your zip code in where mine is & see if that lowers your price. Print this off & take it to the dealer. If they won't work with you get up & go somewhere else. I bet the moment you get up to walk out, they will come close to this amount.

Genxer, you realize not everyone can take advantage of that rebate offer. I haven't heard or read anything about that amount of rebate in my area. They only offers here are the good financing...I think they're giving the Tundra away with a $4000 rebate though.

 

I emailed him the edmunds stuff. The link up there didnt have the sports package and tow hitch in the price. edumunds had it for $22,1xx, with the $1500 rebate.

The 24,149 price is the "out the door" price.

 

The taxes, license, and registration cost will depend on where you live, so it very well could be $2000. In Iowa, tax was 5% and registration was around $65. That 24,149 is a pretty good price if it takes into account all that...obviously the Edmunds price does not.

Correct. But it is worth checking your area on edmunds with your zip to see if it is available.

Near me a Hummer dealership has big signs on the vehicle showing $10,000 off. Then they are trying to say 18MPG, yeah right! Sitting with the engine running in your driveway.

 

tell them to knock it down to like $23000
tell them u need the money for gas, or move on. that truck is not going anymore for awhile!! HAHA

 

so I went to my bank to get a loan and they offered to look for the truck I wanted for me and gave my number to some dealer they deal with. He called me, I told him what I was looking for and what price the other guy was offering me. He called me back 4 hours later, he said he couldnt find what I was looking for at a lower price in that color. he told me it was a "good deal" and I should buy it.

I like the speed way blue but I could deal with the indigo ink if the price was right. I might try to low ball another dealer.

 

At least it's still miles per gallon and not gallons per mile like the fighter jets I get over my house 24/7.
