Bilstein 5100 at .85 with OME 885 Coils?

With my current set up the bilsteins are at 0 and the coils are giving it all the lift, with a spacer. However, the ride is really jarring. Someone here recommended I remove the spacer and set the bilstein at .85.

Anyone tried this? Does it ride ok? I think I need that extra lift for the tier clearance, it rubs pretty good already.

Make sure you installed lift correctly. Shouldnt ride that bad

 

The spacer does the same thing as moving the collar up to .85.
The difference is in the thickness of the spacer. If it is less than .85" or more. If it was a 2" space it would have been stiffer than the .85
Both preload the spring and as you compress the spring more the ride will get stiffer.

Might want to go with 886 springs which will be stiffer but longer so they will ride better.
The 5100s may be a little over matched with the extra stiff springs and preload.

 

if you ride is jarring...this set up will be the same... check to see if your lift is installed correctly
