Just finished flush and fill on my auto transmission and attempting to do the level check. I'm comfortable with the procedure, but can't get the light to come on. Ive driven a couple short 45 second trips to ball games this morning so tranny is not completely cold, but IR gun on the pan says 115F. If I am indeed too warm would this cause no response on dash light? Any thoughts guys? I'm currently giving it a while to further cool to ambient temp to try again later.
