Is there a source for rubber mud flaps?

I posed this question a long while back, but never got an answer.

Just suggested to remove them entirely or trim them.

Which doesn't solve the problem of providing protection yet still be able to be squished flat on a rock and folded, just like good old fashioned rubber can do instead of the hard plastic molded ones.

Yeah, thanks for the link. I see more molded hard flaps that are similar to OME, but not plain RUBBER flaps that flap around in the wind.

I agree - I'm afraid to drive over even a small curb, for fear they will break off!

 

just go to autozone or pepboys or somewhere like that and get some good rubber flexible mudflaps, then just make them fit. you can put bolt holes in them so that they will be pretty close to fitting perfectly.
