A/C Off but still blowing air?

So the other day I was making a 5 hour drive and I put down my windows and turned off my AC. I was driving for a little while and noticed that there was still air blowing out of the vents. I rolled up the windows and the air continued. The knob on the far left was set to "Off" and I cannot figure out what is going on. I know one of you guys got the answer for me!

 

Every truck I've ever owned did that to some extent. I never questioned it, as I like to have a little bit of circulation even when I don't want to alter the temperature of the air. In short, I don't know why, but why not?

 

Air from outside still comes in. If you want it totally off, turn the fan nob off and press the recirc button.

 

Thats the thing, I have the fan nob off. And its not just like a little air flow, its about the air speed you would get from having your fan nob set to the 2nd setting.

 

Did you press the Air recirc button on?

Cause otherwise it will still come in pretty good while driving.

 

That's what Krazie is saying... Even if you do have your fan nob all the way off, vented air from the outside will still come in. This is the case with every vehicle I've owned, and its meant for air circulation. If you don't want vented air coming in from the outside, with everything turned off climate control knob-wise, there's an air-recirculation button under your vent selector knob that once pushed, will close the vented air ducts in your dash, and no longer allow air to come into your cab. Make sure the LED light is Illuminated...

 

Yes, this is with the recirc button on.

Edit - I blame witchcraft then.

 

Try verbally insulting your 'Coma, and then if that doesn't work, I'd take it back to the dealership to get it looked at. Motors within the dash control the vents and they should close when that button is illuminated. Did you try pushing the button and seeing (when the button is not illuminated) if the air flows? Its possible they could have rigged it backwards...

Edit: Disregard... Try what whippersnapper02 suggested. I've never heard of that before.
