cutting the Body mounts to clear the 35" tires

Originally when I purchased my Taco it had some 35" BFG/MT tires that were w-a-y out of balance and cupped. When I drove from Denver it was not a good ride, and the tire noise.....it sounded like a tornado coming down the road.

Being that my hard core wheeling days are over, I decided to ditch the BFG/MT tires and put on a set of Yokohama 315/70R17 tires. In the process, I noticed that the BFG tires were rubbing the body mounts just below the cab. I did some research and noted how people were cutting these back to make room for the 35" tires. So, I pulled out the angle grinder and mounted a cutting blade and went to work. As is standard, I have more pictures and better information on my page. However, here are a few pics and some info.
