Looking at a Tacoma Tomarrow!!!!

Im ganna look at this Tacoma tomarrow, but want to know some things first. Its a 2007 DC LB TRD sport.
It has 80k miles on it, which is very high! But the guy is asking $20K for it. Is it a good idea to consider it? or should I not even bother getting/looking at a Tacoma that year with that many miles?? thanks for any help!

i think the price is a tad high

 

A. carfax
B. why is it for sale-only 3 years old.
C. take your time and look through those "records" and what about records of sceduled maintainance?
If he has nothing other than oil changes I would pass because to me he didn't care about that truck.
D. Why on earth would you get rid of such a fine first-gen like yours?

 

You can get a new one for close to that price. Check out kbb.com and edmunds.com and get the real value of the truck.

And thanks for the comments guys! I do love my truck too! But sad to say, it got totaled a month or so ago, and my buddy will be buying it and fixing it.

I really needed something with a little more room too...

Ha I got my '05 same specs with 10k higher for $16, I'd say he is asking wayyy high!

 

If it were me, I'd keep looking. That's a lot of miles in a short time.

 

They are out there, It took me a while and a bit of haggling. They were asking 23.5k for the truck, but I bought it from a Honda dealership right in the midst of the whole gas peddle recall thing. I was persistant and I think they wanted to unload. I think it helped my deal.

 

I just paid 24,500 for a brand new 2010 4x4 TRD Sport D/C S/B V-6 6 speed. Including all taxes,fees,and a 4 year or 45,000 free maint. plan. They gave me 20,500 for my 2008 Honda Accord. I paid them in cash as well. But do the math and see what I really got the truck for. That is too high.

 

im ganna do alot more searching, and try to get that kind of deal! It would be sweet If I could get a 09 for around 24k....
