So I love my Tacoma. I've always been the truck type, but my '03 Mercedes has a couple features I wish my Tacoma had. I'm hoping others will list unique features too so Toyota may consider these for future models, or so others may tell how to put these features on my Toy. Some are:

Five-Flash Turn Signals - So if I just need to make a quick lane change I nudge my turn signal without going all the way and the lights flash just enough times to make a quick lane change.

Sticking Power Windows Switch (for up & all windows) - So if I or my passengers want to raise (or lower) the windows they simply push the switch til it clicks and it takes the window the full distance - without having to hold it.

Retractable Sunroof - I don't want to cut a hole in my roof for some cheesy glass thing, but I wish I had a sunroof I could open that retracted into my headliner. It needs to look factory. I really miss this.

Anyone miss features found on their other vehicles? List them here.

Anyone know how to address the features I listed above? Do tell.

Cover King Seat Covers, WeatherTech Liners, PopNLock, storage bin locks, N-Fab Step bars, and G4 Elite Tonneau cover.
Our MDX has leather seats with position memory for each driver. I love that feature.

I love the rear power windows on my sequoia

I miss my solid front axle from my old jeep.

5.0 v8 out of my old explorer.

    The Subaru all wheel drive.
    To name a few

Haahaa. This to me is the most annoying feature on my mom's Benz. It seems never to work right.

Five-Flash Turn Signals - So if I just need to make a quick lane change I nudge my turn signal without going all the way and the lights flash just enough times to make a quick lane change.

    I'm sorry but:

Clicking that stalk is too much work for you?

Holding that button down is too much work for you?

There's a reason lux vehicles are lux - they have lots of gizmos and doodads that work for 5 years and then start breaking in sequence.

Ford tried the LuxTruck thing...doesn't seem to work.

I for one am kind of annoyed Toyota doesn't offer a D-Cab OR Package Tacoma with manual locks, windows, and rubber floor.

Too funny. The gizmos haven't crapped out yet, but you get used to them. i hate the sound of unclicking the turnsignal. The power window switch is power-down only for the driver on the Toy. What about up and for the passengers.

    Remote would be cool.

i agree, my 08 altima had them, its nice on those hot days, walking to the car, you know its hot as balls in there, hit the button, down go the windows...that way you dont get blasted in the face with hot air when you open the door.:D

My 89 Toyota pickup had a locking gas door and a sunroof! It almost seems like they are working backwards and removing features as time goes on. :D

I would be happy if my fog light button lights up. and I had some rubber bottoms on the cup holders to keep my change from sliding around.

I really liked the HUD (Heads Up Display) that my '02 Grand Prix GTP had. It was a great feature and it was really nice not having to look down under my wrist to see the speedo all the time. I doubt we'll ever see that in our trucks though.

I hated that on the dodge work trucks. If you ever accidentally hit the signal stalk then the fucking thing would start going off like crazy and it pissed me off and probably confused the sweet shit out of other drivers.

I miss the Full time 4WD of our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Really nice to have in inclement weather.

And Rubber floors like in the Dodge work trucks. Fucking carpet is a pain to clean. Thank god for Husky Liners.

Would you really want to hop in the back of your truck and roll the rear windows down? And when you get to your location, hop back in the back of the truck and roll them back up?

Climate control is something I wished they offered..

    I agree 110%

The tacoma is in its 6th year of production and still suffers from TSB's that were identified years ago. Refine the current product before adding gizmos that do nothing but enlarge the MSRP.
