I have a 2006 DC and Im about to add a small clarion amp and JL sub to my system. For space and air circulation I prefer mounting my amp under the seat. Im worried about the vents. Should I some how clog the vents. I also wonder if the heat coming out of the vents would still be cooler then my amp at its hottest running temp. If that's the case maybe the convection would keep my amp cooler in the winter. Any thoughts, input or experiences would be helpful. Thks

i have my boss 400 watt 4 channel under my passenger seat with no issues at all. Just had to take out the seat and remove the small cross bar underneath the seat.

So did you just screw the amp into the floor right over the vent. Did you cap the vents off some how?
