Low idle after changing belt and battery

Changed a squeeling belt then found out i had a dead battery, changed that too but now my truck idles low.

 

It starts out at regular idle like around 850 rpm then in about 60 sec. it drops to around 500 rpm

 

its cuz u reset ecm learned memory when u replaced battery. try clean MAF sensor with good quality electronics cleaner. u must drive around for a little bit for ecm to re-learn values and drive patterns. its no probs.

 

im just saying.... v6 1gr should idle around 750-800 . 550 seems to low even for 2tr 4-cyl. if my truck idles at 550, im checking it out to see wats going wrong.

 

Mine idles at about 550 - 600 when warmed up and AC is not on.

 

idk. its all about learned memory. maybe my truck is at high idle all the time cuz i drive so fast all the time n i keep high rpm's while driving cuz i drive so fast when i drive really fast lol

resetting ecu can changed learned value of MAF sensor readings. if value is reset and maf is dirty, airflow readings will not be correct for ecu. it will eventually relearn/calibrate itself to airflow from maf sensor readings ("idle up"). i deal with that prob everyday. doing recalls on tacos for pedal recall where we gotta reflash ecu. its a common problem. im just saying thats how the system works. from my experience.

 

Thanks to everyone for your input,I got the problem resolve so I'm trucking again. I used a cotton swab with a little bit of soap water and cleaned the MAF, it seems years of k&N filter oil fouled it. Drove around a bit and it's okay now. Thanks.
