    Hey all

I have a 2006 TRD with long travel. I was going through it last night to get ready for my Death Valley trip. Unfortunately, I found that I need new wheel bearings in the front wheels. Any feedback on where to source these? My buddy has a press, is this something I can do on my own with decent technical skills and a good array of tools?

Also, I noticed about an inch to an inch and a half of play in the driveshaft center support bushing. How much is normal? How difficult are these to replace? Any ideas of were to acquire them?

    Thanks ahead of time everyone!

i noticed some place in my csb as well and thought i had vibrations stemming from that place in the bearing, however, the vibration was from a rear u-joint gone bad instead. When i had the issue with my csb, i asked around to many people and they said that it should not have play, but after taking mine in to a mechanic, they did not notice anything wrong with my bearing, and after they replaced my u-joint i did not notice anymore vibration. so i would say some play is fine, i had a half in to inch play in the bearing (can't be sure exactly, but it definitely had some play). The replacement on them i hear is not an easy task without the proper tools. I picked up a bearing from a local driveshaft specialist for about $90. I expect it to go eventually so i'll be keeping it as a spare..if you were in CO i'd hook you up with it but with shipping i'm sure you can find a better deal from a local specialist. most shops would be willing to even replace the bearing for you if you provide the part (or have them provide it) and give them your driveshaft (off the truck) to replace the bearing.
as far as your front bearings, i cannot help you there but that's bout the best advice i can give you on the csb seems how i just recently dealt with it.
