Hi, I'm trying to install a remote start system on my truck but I cant find the factory alarm system wires. I don't have a diagram for a 2011 because there isn't one available yet. I don't know if my truck even has an alarm system. On the key fob, there is a panic button.. would this be considered the alarm? If so, if anyone knows exactly where (in the kick panel) the factory alarm wires are, pleeease fill me in.
    Thanks.

Just bought my 2011. No alarm. The horn thing is just panic button. I've tried lifting handle and shaking the truck when locked. No alarm. The dealer said there wasn't anyway. I just had to try tho' :-D

Throw a brick throught window, if it beeps and horn honks you have an alarm. Otherwised no.

roll the window down, close the door, lock it with the key fob, then reach in and open the door from the inside. You should find out real quick if you have an alarm.

Mine didn't have a factory alarm either, just the engine immobilizer system. The factory alarms aren't all that great anyway. Go aftermarket!
