Oil change mess. drained transmission fluid instead

    This is bullshit and you know it ... and is a main reason why the dealership's costs are high.

    Everyone's biggest gripe is how the "Stealership" rips them off but as soon as some chucklehead (no offense intended) fouls up people want to stick it to the dealership.

    Just get under the truck...since the motor oil drains out of the motor, look just forward of the front cross member for a drain bolt (you can see it through a access hole in the aft skid plate.) The transmission pan is towards the mid section of the truck (under the transmission) and is no where near the motor.

    Because the write up doesn't show a skid plate in it. And when you can only find one bolt not covered by a skid plate you think you've found it.

    It's not that obvious for first timers with a Skid plate on. Don't be a douche.
