Hey everyone who have used Goodyear DuraTracs, how do they compare to the stock BFG Rugged Trails? Are they much louder?

I replaced my stock tires with Duratracs after 1000 miles and have noticed no decrease in mpg and significant increase in traction. There is virtually no difference in road noise.

bfg rugged trails are a horrible tire. terrible tread wear, weak sidewall.

Duratracs are one of the best all terrain/mud tire made. period. You get what you pay for though as they are now one of the more expensive tires on the market.

That's because the demand for them is fucking ridiculous.

ya i think they are better. i lost about 1mpg, but i went up to 265/75. my speedo is actually acurate now per gps. my mileage is actually 2mpg lower, but when i factor in my speedo was wrong to start with its back to 1

ya they are louder. not mud terrain loud, but a little louder than a typical AT like bfg AT. its almost like a higher pitch noise they make. i can hear my trd exhaust over it though, and the radio on i only hear radio. its not loud, and not bad. i like them and would buy again, esp with the treadlightly rebate.
