Up/down movement in CV axles

    I was outside looking under my truck this morning and wiggled on the driver side CV axle. There is some in/out (of the front differential) movement and some up/down movement too.

    I'm wondering if the up/down wiggle room is normal. There is some, but doesn't seem as much, on the passenger side. I realize that the differential is not symmetrical so the two sides could differ.

    I don't hear/feel any growling. Current running stock suspension and 265-75R16 BFG A/T's.

    I was concerned the other day when I noticed this so I went under the truck and recorded the movement. It seems excessive to me, but if it's normal then I guess it's normal.
