just about black everything. i don't dig the chrome.
i think you guys should all make "appointments" to go to his "shop" at the same time and check out his tailgates, then kick his ass, take his merch and distribute the tailgates back to the rightful owners!

    .

Buy the tailgate and photograph him (and his tag) with your cell phone and record his azz too.

That punk needs to be in jail.

I bought the Pop'n Lock heavy duty version (quality, clever product), plus I've got a shell. May put clamps on too.

Am I paranoid? Hell yeah. I've been ripped-off too many times in life.

I hate scumbags like that who obviously have no life and nothing better to do with their time than steal from honest people.

One of you TW'ers from Norcal should put this in front of the local auto theft task force. Let them bust his ass hard. I would also reccomend marking your tailgates in addition to the locks and clamps. Write vin on it in a covert place like under the plastic. Too bad theres not a mod for a fully recording back up camera/securtiy camera, that would be tits.:fenforcer:

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
... or that fact that he is advertising his business on Craigslist. If he had a legitimate business he would advertise ith a reliable source. I assume $150 is a hell of a deal for a painted tailgate so if it were legit he would have some real advertising.

I live in the area so I know where to look if my tailgate turns up missing. How do the locks work and where can they be obtained?

Thats what I was thinking, park right around the corner or down the street, call and say I need a (whatever color your truck is) tailgate. See what happens.

Whooops, I really meant to say +1 to someone else's recommendation on this thread for the tailgate lock, but screwed it up. My bad, still getting a hang of this forum posting thing.
