On another note: Most of these changes will probably occur when they release the updated Tacoma in a couple of years.

TRD Sport. On my Dealer window sticker it says DBL CAB 4X4 V6 L/B
Under Optional Equipment I have the TRD DTRL(Day time running lights) and the Tow package. And on the tailgate it say V6 SR5. It also has Auto lsd. I ended up getting this one instead of a short bed standard 4x4 that had every option you could get. I had to have auto trany and the long bed.

TRD Off Road TX model. I still can't figure out the difference between the standard TX package and the Off Road package aside from the fake bead lock wheels.

Xcab sport, 4wd, towing package, all color keyed silver.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the look of black door handles on other color paint :dunno:

EDIT: Forgot to say that mine has leather :noes:

Wasn't there a TRD catback exhaust thrown in as well, or was that the TX "Pro" package?

Hey, it isn't as bad as Ford, whose "special edition" Raptor is distinguished only by badging (i.e. it's only "special" because Ford labeled it as such).

If you need it, then the upgrade to the TRD package is well worth the money.
Are the TRD OR going to have a this stuff you listed or you just didnt need thoes things?
Mine is a TRD OR and it only has a rear diff locker?

2012 TRD Off Road with Tow Package. love it but would been better investment to get base model 4x4 with tow package seeing as all TRD suspension parts were removed for my lift. lessons learned the hard way

I about embark on my 4th 2nd gen and my biggest criticism of the non TRD is the cloth seats...IMHO the TRD seats are light years more comfortable...
