funny story..went wheelng couple years ago with a buddy and his parents they both have jeep rubicons..one TJ one LJ..(me in my samurai) on way back we're all plastered with mud I'm in the middle of them and a jeep passes us.. waves at the jeep in front starts to wave at me then pulls hand down quick then waves at jeep in back

gf thought it was funny as all he!!

Yea that dude's just being a douche, some folks around here are the same way. They'll do a couple mods (sometimes even shitty) and think they're tough shit for some reason.

When I'm riding on my bike the only riders that wave back usually are other sportbikes. The cruiser folks just ignore me or look at me like WTF. Typically you get the wave response from other "enthusiasts", everyone else is just an "owner".

iSTIZ099 is right on there, although my feelings are a little hurt. All of you guys think that if your over 40 you can't enjoy your Tacoma. I couldn't afford to do all the things I wanted until I was over 40. So you know, I wave back, and tell you "Nice Truck" youngster.:)

Coming from the modified BMW world, nobody waves at eachother... it's rare and I tried to at times. Here in CA, there are so many Tacomas and so many of them Modded I don't bother to even wave at all..

x2 40 here....I wave to other Tacoma drivers too, I always check and see if its a sr5 or TRD and look for mods. I would mod the hell out of this thing, but then that would just take away the fundings for my vette im getting next.:D

I'm 46, so i usually just hang around the entrance to the Home Depot parking lot and wave at other middle age people in Tacomas when they drive in.:D

JK around here there are very few modded trucks, but on the ocassion that i pass one i'll wave or give them a thumbs up and usually get one back.
I also do this when i see a 60's or early 70's car in nice shape.
