Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forums. Just got a 2006 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Sport 4x4 SR5 a couple of days ago and LOVE IT! This is my first Taco, and I don't know if I'll ever change! haha. :D

Anyway, my questions is this: The storage compartment doors in the bed of the truck are missing. Is that just something I can go order from my local Toyota dealer? And is it just an easy pop-in install? (That's what I would anticipate...)

Thanks ahead of time for the help!

Hello David, and welcome to TW.com!

Yes you can go directly to the dealer and order or pick those up. Or you can go online and order the part, there are some websites that only sell Tacoma parts or Toyota parts. I'm not sure if they're cheaper or more than the dealership for that part, you'll have to compare.
I also don't know the best sites, but I'm sure someone will put up some good sites. You can also go to Google and do a search for TRD parts, or OEM tacoma parts, etc. That will put up some websites to look through.

They're very easy to re-install, if you need help just let us know.

Also just to let you know, the areas above the wheel wells don't have doors. Just in case you're talking about that.

    Hope that helps....

In my experience, you can find parts cheaper online than at the dealer.

Thanks for the help guys! I think buying online will definitely be the cheaper route to go, but they don't have the best pictures of the product, so I'm not 100% sure it'll be the right one. Oh well, I'd rather save the money! I'll just have faith that it'll work out. ;)

Contact member Jorge@CBTParts. He'll be able to help you find the part # and probably make you a deal on them.
