Engine break-in period?

Do you guys have any thoughts on how to break-in the 4cyl? I'm picking up my '09 AC tomorrow, and any suggestions are welcome.

it will tell you in the owner's manual under "break-in period"

mine (4.0) says similar stuff to what they ^^ said above.

i figure since the first service is at 10,000 km, so i guess that would be changing oil every 5,000 km

^Yes, and a supercharger. If I remember correctly, your truck will only last 500,000 miles if you do not add on a SC vs 1,000,000 miles if you do.

Oil wise, here's what I did: first change at 1500 miles with dino. Second change at 3000 miles with synthetic. I now change every 5000 miles. Overkill? Probably but that's how I roll.

drive it like you stole it right off the lot...just vary the rpms the first 500 miles and no cruise. Other people that test drove it already beat the crap out of it probably
