Yep, the one on the right is the correct way to install. Ask me how I know? I installed both of mine this weekend. I ended up with about a 4" lift set at the .85 position. Had to start all over. Major face-palm moment.

    So, this is the problem?

Yeah, it sticks out like a sore thumb after someone else pointed it out to me.

Bummer, but at least they're willing to make it right.

Wow! Props to those guys! That's really stand up. I was in the middle of writing a post that said I thought they'd reverse the strut after you removed yourself it and brought it to them. You need to stick with that shop. It's only when you see how someone reacts after the inevitable stuff-up that you find out what kind of people you're really dealing with. Now you know, and the answer is a good one.

Yah the guy said " it should have been done right the first time"

I'm glad I didn't have a further issue with them. Just wish I was getting tires today instead of doing this!

It really is easy to mess this up. I have done a lot of suspension work over the years and I installed mine upside down. Looked at it and thought "it goes on this way" and never checked up. Installed the other one exactly the same way. But you would think they would have at least installed them both the same way.

to take care of the vibrations, you might want to install a carrier bearing drop kit, they also sale it at toytec. or you can take a stack of flat washers and put in there.

I'm sure someone will answer this better, but going above .85 5100 setting on eibach springs will have too much of a load on the 5100's. And worse ride. And worse cv angle.

    Thanks guys!

At meineke now and they are pulling the CO and fixing it all up.

Priddle- you can use your stock coil with 5100's set at 2.5. Not sure if there is an aftermarket coil u can do that with or not. The experts on here should know...

So I'm sitting here at meineke while they fix my shock, and I walk out there and he has the CORRECT shock assembly half off my truck!

I'm like dude no, it's the other one. Fawk me. I hope they don't jack any more shit up!
