    Correction..its a Honda Pilot with a bed.

My dad mentioned buying one recently...I quickly shot down that idea and made him do the right thing and buy a tacoma.

When towing or hauling, you want the load over the drive wheels. That's the main reason for RWD in most trucks.

I think this is the best answer. FWD diffs cant be as heavy duty as a rear diff. Also, towing weight with a high torque truck might cause some torque steer issues.

Yep! The ridgeline is a van with a small bed.

Welp.....This is my thoughts.......Most trucks need a large engine supplying more torque, than a smaller engine can make. This becomes a packaging issue, as its harder to fit a larger engine (and tranny), and configure it for FWD, than it is to fit it for RWD. As far as I know, only one manufacture made a large engine front drive vehicle (IIRC, it was a buick with a 455 V8), and the hood was so large, it would be impractical for a truck. Could you imagine a FWD Cummins Dodge? Engine alone is 1200#.....THEN put the tranny over the front too? It wouldnt get traction when hitched to a 10K pound trailor.
