Nerf/Step Bars question...

Can someone please tell me if a nerf bar for a 2nd gen DC short bed will fit on a 2nd gen DC longbed? Will it look funny?

 

I have cab length N-Fabs on my Tacoma. I didn't like the look of the full length bar. Take a look at my build page.

 

Actually, I'm really more concerned if they will bolt on. I believe the seller that I'm interested in buying from has some smittybilt step bars.

 

The bars are probably the same, length & mounting points. Nerf bars usually only cover where the doors are - and don't go back to where the bed is.

Call the seller and ask him to measure the distance between each mounting location. Then - you can measure your truck. THey mount on the inside of the rocker guards.

 

Should fit. Mounting points are at D-cab length not bed.

 

mount points should be the same. They bolt on the under side of the body, not the frame. There should be 5 bolt/screw spots, if they have never been used, they are filled with plastic thread protectors. They pop right out.
