Traction Control

My truck came with all the factory wiring already for all the button, I put some fog lights using the factory wiring. I was wondering for the traction control switch (VSC), is it easy as buying the switch then connecting the relay and it works?
Just curious since it be useful here with the winter driving.

Thanks.

Doubtful. You need the correct computer and programming.

hey, i am trying to do the same thing. if you find out anything that works, please please let me know. i even emailed the guys at 4WD Toyota Owner mag to see if they had heard of this before, and they had no clue, but upon further research, i found that a FJ cruiser owner had accomplished this same thing. let me know!

For the FJ with a rear locker all you had to do was buy the ATRAC switch and you had ATRAC but that ended when Toyota started packaging the locker and ATRAC together. If you don't have the proper programming and/or computer then it won't work.
