    Hey all,

I'm the proud owner of a new 2010 doublecab 4x4 SR5 Tacoma in super white. The truck has the SR5 pkg 2 and the towing package.

I got the truck for$ 25,845. What do you all think, did I get a good deal or no?

I'll post a pic when I get back to the computer, thanks.

    Does Plasti-Dip count as a mod ?
Doesn't sound too bad. I got my 11 4x4 DC/SB TRD/OR w/ Tow pkg for 28k. Plus taxes and such.

I would say you did well. That's close to what I paid for mine in 2007, same truck w/out the tow package. I'm in Boston though so things are a little more expensive.

I bought my 2010 D/C TRD Sport 6 speed manual 4x4 in July of this year. Traded in my 2008 Honda Accord EXL V-6 with 34,000 miles. They gave me 20,500 for it. And I walked out the giving them a check for 5,900 including all fees, taxes, and 4 years of free Maint. So I think I did quite well.

Yeah, I think that would be a good price for that truck in my area.

The new Tacomas are'nt that good looking. I do like the extra room but the older models are better looking (To me anyway). Why does Toyota continue to screw up perfection? The new 2011 models look cheap and are'nt worth the asking price IMHO.

I'd say you did good. I got my 2010 DC PreRunner w/TRD OR and Tow Pkg. for $25,200 back in Dec. '09.

I bought that exact truck a week ago and paid $24,250 ( brand new 4x4 DC SR5 stage 2, same color even!), but I also traded in my busted v6 2001 Mustang with 100K miles and early transmission problems. I think I got a good deal and so did you. The taco originally stickered at just under $30K.

Can't wait to get some tires for the thing!
