Well....finally picked it up yesterday. It's all in the details. 4x2, TRD Sport with the Tow Package and JBL Sound System. I ordered the nerf bars, but it came with running boards. When I pointed this out, the dealer deducted an additional $250.00 from the bottomline. No complaints. And yes, I've posted some pics.

Love it. I take the train into DC for work, so not many miles yet. One thing I've done in the limited miles is to try and identify some of the "unique" characteristics I've previously read. So far, nothing I can't ignore. Got a 3 day weekend, so I'll have the opportunity to put some miles in. Stopping by the local Harley shop this weekend....it's not my truck without a HD decal in the rear window. Got me thinking......the spongy feeling in the brake petal. Anybody got an idea on how to "tighten" it up?

I took mine to the dealership and told them that the brakes felt like they were loosing pressure. They bled and refilled the system, and the problem went away.

Congrats on a sweet truck. Sorry about the Nerf bars (that is my preference too), but atleast you got something close for free. :)

I may end up doing that, although consumer reports noted this was a "feature" to expect. Coming off a different braking system, this one I suspect will be a factor I'll have to get used to. One item I really like is how smooth it is getting up to speed. On the highway, I find myself getting up to speed very smoothly.

Yeah.....well if I decide to switch the running boards out you'll either see them on ebay or on the swap section of this forum.

The truck i test drove had a spongy feel to the brakes, but the truck i bought feels fine. i think it differs from truck to truck and the dealer should be able to find a way to tighten them up
