    Thanks guys! It took a lot of work to get the fit down.

    I made them, check out the first page for pictures/info.


    The latches are 90 degree toggle clamps.

    awesome place for CB antenna, ( maybe a flip down one would be nice )

    and an awesome place for back up lights / bed lights

    and some expanded metal could be nice on there to keep small stuff from flying out! I love people who build stuff for themselves :D i'm 17 and my dad isn't very mechanical, but I do the best fabbing i can teaching myself and using the tools i've got on hand...

    you really learn metal working when you use a hand saw to cut through it

    should increase his gas milage! Much better air flow.. no "air damn"

    i've got a patten i'm working on for my truck.. ;) i'll let you guys see once i'm done

    i was working with the former president of design for GM on it, but he passed away this pass winter.. so now I'm on my own with it. RIP Chuck Jordan.

    Looks nice. I also always seem to finish my projects on Sunday evening and end up taking the "after" or "finished" photo in the dark. :)

    But wouldn't one of the other "tailgate anti-theft-mods" have been easier? :D
