I don't consider lifts and bumpers extreme. I just like a firmer suspension and a bumper thats made for bumping.

Extreme to me would be tearing into the sound system and other fandangled electronics. I'd be afraid of cutting the wrong wire and blowing up my truck or something. :D

For one thing it limits your market - a lot of people might like a used Tacoma, but most buyers prefer stock vehicles. Even the few who want to do mods will probably want to do theirs, not yours.

I have been riding motorcycles for 10 or so years, and from all the shopping and pricing I have done on bikes, it seems like generally buyers won't pay more for a bike with a lot of mods, unless it's something extreme like a bike that is fully race ready or whatever.

Do what you want. If you want to mod your truck then mod it. If you want to try to get top dollar for it later then baby it until you sell it

An ARE camper shell, a 1000w power inverter.

    This.....

Take everything off. Lift kits, supercharger, intake, camper, roller rockers(d'oh I'm a pushrod guy) off and sell them through craigslist.

You will do so much better. Now if its any item in which you had to mod the vehicle to where it can't go back to stock, of course leave that part on. But you do better selling your parts separately. I'm in process of stripping my old truck now.

If you plan on selling it in a year or so, do a couple slight mods that you can take off and sell separate from the truck. If youre driving it till it dies, do what makes you happy and make it your own.

Why modify it for no reason?

I heavily modified mine(not even close to being finished) for good reason.
