OME Dust boot help

    Can anyone tell me If I can take the front dust boot off of the OME COIL STRUT ASSYMBLY? Working on this now posting from phone need assistance?? I would like to leave them off but need to kno if they r necessary, Thanks JOE>

    Why would you want to take it off?

    They're not necessary but protect the strut shaft / seal from dirt & debris. You could experience premature leakage if dust/dirt get in there.
