All I got was a bedmat and a 2 year service agreement. Though that was probably from Toyota!

    Looking!
Dealer threw in carpeted floor mats when I picked up the truck. They also sold the truck to me at invoice price. Very happy with it.

Some of the items being listed as "thrown in" are pretty standard for buying any new car from any dealer. I've never bought a vehicle that they didn't fully detail and give a full tank of gas before I took the keys. Dealer key chains, hats, shirts, stickers.

Kind of like bragging that they threw in a free dealership license plate frame. The most unique freebie I ever received was when I bought a Scion, the sales rep burned me a CD of 700MB worth of MP3's that he called the "Scion Guys' Road Mix". It was actually pretty decent and made the drive home enjoyable.

When I bought my Taco earlier this year, the dealer gave me a free year of "concierge service" which is a phone number I can call to get directions, make reservations, check the weather, find restaurants, etc. I also got 3 free oil changes and 1 year of scratch and dent repair. Within the first year, if I get any dents/dings/scratches, I can take it to them and they will fix it. I think I also got 1 year of roadside assistance. They threw in a shit load of freebies, but they give that to everyone buying a new car from them. By far that was the best dealership I've ever bought from.

I got $3K more trade in on my FJ Cruiser than the jackhole stealerships in Central Texas wanted to give me. That, coupled with NADA invoice price, made the 24 hour trip to Kansas City and back more than worth it.

What kind of locking gas cap did they include? Does it look Toyota OEM, or is it clearly aftermarket?
