the extender sits below the rail tracks on mine

Fits with the Fold A Cover G4 on my 2011 Tacoma DC. I would say it would also fit with the backflip, check with manufacter to make sure before your purchase.

I just put my cover on yesterday. The extender fits fine under mine, but I can not get the cover to latch down when the extender is folded in. I am trying to come up with a solution.
