Installing 5100 for front. Front-end alignment enough?

Folks,

My local tire shop is promising free front-end only alignment if I buy a set of tires from them. I am putting in the front billies (5100) this weekend and also thinking about getting a set of chunkier tires.

Question: Is the free alignment from the tire shop enough post 5100 install? Looking to combine and save a few bucks.

Cool. Figured I save $80-100 on the alignment by doing tires right after the billies.

I am looking at 265x70x16s on the stock steelies. Either the General Grabber AT2 or BFG AT KO. Leaning towards the Generals as they are almost $250 cheaper.

 

I'd lean towards the Generals.. BFG ATs look nice, but are SUPER heavy and not any better off-road than other brands that are FAR cheaper..

When I get tires, I am going to run Firestone Destination ATs..

 

No doubt. Heard nothing but good things about BFG ATs.

But I think I am sold on the Generals, they are getting pretty decent reviews on Tirerack as well as on here. Doubt I will drive the truck for another 40k miles before I get rid of it, so cheaper makes sense to me over treadwear.

Here is the final result my friend. Thanks for your thoughts/opinions.

Rear spring TSB, 5100s set at .85 and 265x70x16s with spidertrax at all 4 corners.

 

Looks good.
