Will 6" w/ 35's fit in my garage?

I am trying to figure out if a 6" lift with 35" tires would fit in my garage. Does anyone know the height of their truck with these mods is?

My RCD and 285's fits in my garage easily. I think a 6 and 35 would still fit.

 

well stock tire is 30.5 in. So a 35in tire raises your truck ~2.25 inches, and the 6 inch lift raises your truck ~ 6 inches, so you can assume your truck will be about ~8.25 inches higher, say 9 to be safe. Now go measure.

 

Depends on the height of your garage first..... I fit in my garage with my fabtech lift and tires.

 

i would fit if the lift motor was higher i think

 

sorry, but this has got to be one of the dumbest questions. do you not know how to add or measure?

Step one: Measure the height of your Tacoma.

Step two: Add six inches.

Step three: Measure the height of your tires.

Step four: Subtract the height of your tires from 35. Divide by two and add to step two.

Step five: Measure height of garage door and compare to "new height" of truck.

 

What ever you do don't put that lift on in the garage that you haven't measured, Had a friend lift a jeep then not be able to get it out without swapping to some steelies first.

Just came across this post. Concerned I will have a similar issue with a 6" and 33s. There are alot of parking garages in DC.

 

Time to upgrade to a jackshaft opener that mounts on the sidewall and attaches directly to the garage door shaft. That's what I did. No more chain drive crap.
