I wouldn't be able to contain myself and would have to know. Congrats on hitting the 12s!

I bet you're makin around 350-360whp with the weight of the truck and at that mph.
Only 11psi. Any idea of what our bottom ends will hold? HP, TQ, PSI?

Thats sounds about right. But Im not really interested in dyno's. There are too many different kinds of dynos and I would just rather not know. The track is more my style for finding out how fast something is.;)

Right... I like butt dynos and track mph to find out power figures.
Just a tip, if ya ever do dyno... go to a dynojet. They give ya the highest numbers :D. Mustang dynos give the lowest but are a bit more accurate to real world conditions, due to it being load bearing.

See thats the problem...do I get the so called accurate numbers and claim those are a little low. Or brag with the inflated numbers and not tell people what dyno I used:p

If someone wants to hook me up on the dyno for free, I'll do it

DynoDynamic dynos are the most conservative actually.

Say we start at Dynojet as the base line... Mustang would be around 11% more conservative while a Dynodynamics would be 18% more conservative than a Dynojet.

You're right though... Dyno's are only good for tuning or bragging rights. Dynojets are good for bragging rights while the more conservative ones are better for tunning.

Personally I'd rather have the Mustang dyno and have conservative numbers than potentially-inflated ones. Then people don't really know how fast you could be anyway, and you're still happy.

Thats a good way of looking at it. Still though, doing a dyno in these trucks is nearly impossible with the auto. It doesnt want to stay in 3rd gear from what Ive read.

I've read that dynoing autos can be a challenge. Is there any way to lock them into a certain gear? I suppose to get the most accurate results you'd have to tap into the tachometer output to offset speed differences associated with an unlocked torque converter.

In 5th the autos lock the converter up but I'm not sure if that's plausible for using in a dyno run because it would probably down shift when goosed.

Initially it will just be a link but give it 20 or so seconds and come back and it will be there. That's if you are using the "share" link.
