Ya I do have the SWB DC Trd right now. The Dealer called me back and said they are having trouble getting me financed. They are trying one more bank that he said thinks will take the loan. He said most banks want me around 20-23 Grand and the tacoma i got was about 26. Its an 07 with 40K miles. perfect condition all around. If I put about 2.5 grand down the deal would be done but I just dont have that right now

If this dont work out. I might have to settle for a black access cab trd with about 50 k for 19.5 k. Or a DC Sr5 red.

I really hope this works out. I was super bummed to get that call. I fell in love with this truck.

So they let you leave with a truck without having financing in place? Odd

Is it just me, or does 26 seem a little steep for a 4 year old trd. Some people are getting brand new ones for a little more... no?

in which monetary unit is one of the TRD an 8k option? I guess if you mean a 2wd 5 lug vs an access cab 4x4.. with trd.

    Me too.
Are you driving the truck right now without financing?

Sounds like you are doing ok driving a truck without signing a loan.
FWIW I settled for 4WD DC SR5 and it works great but the TRD packages do give the truck a lot more plus helps with resale.
Its an option the blue book recognizes & adds to the value.
I was trying to keep the cost of my truck down thus choosing SR5 vs TRD.
You gotta pay one way or another with maybe the exception of your dealer. j/k ;)

You know I think the Dealer is trying to rip me off.
He is going to call me at noon and let me know whats going on.

The truck was at sale for 25,000. Witch I think Is a little high for 40k miles and an 07. Why call me 3 days later and say you need more and more down? Why dont you lower the price then? Its not my fault you let me take it home, signed all the paper work, and told me you can make it work with 500 down.

If I have to take it back I will. I found a deal on a Black Half cab trd for 19k and 50,000 miles. I am willing to loose the double cab for a half cab and cheaper price. Its still the off road edition. So we will see.

I just love the SWB color

You are correct about the year and the fact A-TRAC and Limited slip are 2 different things. A-TRAC is a combination of anti-skid and traction control through computer monitoring of the ABS and throttle. Limited slip is strictly traction control via clutch style posi. Auto LSD is standard and Electronic is an option. Both A-TRAC and E-LSD are available on the TRD. A-LSD is standard on SR5, TRD off road and Sport. They are all worth the money
