front vertical orange light?

FWIW , all the Canadian trucks come with them stock , daytime running lights are the law here .

heh..I have the reflexes of a cat and the eyesight of an eagle....too bad I have the judgement of an 8 year old ....I'd be retired already !

 

Ditto.. also, strange that it seems to be "mandatory" (though many disable them) but i get charged as if I ordered it. I don't particularly care if my car has DRLs or not... but my turn signals are stuck on.. that's not drls in my book.

Not whining, but I may eventually get rid of them.

 

That's exactly what I did on my 05. Mine come on now anytime the park lamps are on. I like the way it looks.

 

btw day time running lights are not illegal in ca. most gm cars have them.

I also don't have front license plate the cops don't care unless ur driving like crazy

 

Where I'm from it's against the law......so is red.

Alright, so does anyone know how to turn them off? My 2011 has them and I'd like to get rid of em.

EDIT: Ok, after some searching, I got my question answered. Would anyone here like to swap me their Non-DTRL relay for my DTRL relay?

 

Obviously FALSE seeing as mine is a 2008 and has the orange DRLs from the factory.

I installed a DS aftermarket Depo light last night, it has the DTRL, but my PS light does not, looks goofy. I looked up the price for just a PS one, $150. I think I'm just going to penny up and get some aftermarket ones.

 

DTRL's was a $40 add to my option lists, but my insurance company gave me a discount because my truck had them...

 

Blue, red, and green are all illegal anywhere on your vehicle barring red lights on the rear of the truck.

 

OK...can anyone tell me for sure...if you put in LED's either in the front turn signals or rear...will they hyperflash? I guess it all depends on the flasher...whether it is a thermal or electronic flasher.
