hey guys- i got the 2008 base model, and of course i have like 7 blank switch plugs and i was just curious what all they were meant to be.
but also, i'm curious what goodies you guys have wired into any of your blank ones.
i've since wired up one with my bull bar lights, and i'm trying to come up with some good or wacky mods
to make use of the other ones.
like, smoke screen, oil slick, spiked caltrop dropper, etc :D
nah but seriously, the sky's the limit with what i could wire up.
    what would you do?

I've only got three aux switches that aren't being used.

1 will be for bull bar mounted lighting.
1 will be for bed bar lighting.
The last will be for I don't know.

maybe one that lights up a neon sign that says 'pimp' or 'taco' behind my mesh grill....
    ha ha no way...:p

years ago i worked at kinko's and every time we threw out the machine's waste toner containers, i always thought they would make kick ass smoke screens,
if you rigged them to dump while driving. it's almost lighter than air, and BAD to breath for the people behind you.
also god knows what that fine plastic powder would do to an engine or air filter system.

more realistically, i will probably put some lights behind the grill, maybe some bed lights,
but that still leaves me with about three...

any body know of some other lights (besides from toyota) that would fit or at least jive with the bumper light openings?

Mods? What's a mod? Bone stock, baby. Well, okay. Maybe a few smallish mods. If you count a locking gas cap, coin holder and a behind-the-seat trash bag.
How about a Beep Defeat for the Moerse Lekker beeper (so you don't have to open the hood when your flashers are on).

Alright Q, when are you going to work on my Tacoma?

 You should move the Passenger Eject down to the bottom row and the clutch cancel up. Then you could edit a photo to just show the bottom row, and use it as your signature! :D

    Cheers!

LOL! Don't. You should hear the inside of my truck when it's raining and you'll be more than happy to have a headliner!

It wasn't until I took that picture that I realized the overhead console looks like it's smiling at me. :)
