Dented my rocker panel

    is there any way to replace this or fix this. it looks like it is part of the hole cab but if there is a fix please let me no. ill be getting sliders for sure now. i seen this but it dose not look the same as for what is needed for my truck. Here if i took it to a body shop what would be a ballpark price? i can get more pics if needed.

    i have 2010 4x4 access cab 2.7

    same shit as everyone else
    I did the same thing right after i bought my truck. I just took some clay bar to it and a little touch up paint and got all the scratches off. Then added some steps to it. Now you can't really see it at all unless you know its there. I would just forget about it, but thats just me.

    That sucks :(. You might get lucky, in that it is between those seams, they can contain the repair in between those. don't worry about blending the paint. Price could vary by area, I would guess from a couple to maybe $500.

    Same thing happened to my truck someone backed into it last week. Insurance gave me 3k (fix panel and door), cost me 1.5k to fix and looks brand new. Profited 1.5k too:)

    so its going to coast me to get it fixed i guess. so no one has way to fix this with out it coast me $500 to 1K?

    no way, piant damadge and creases besides the fact that you have to access the back of the panel for PDR.
    Get an estimate at a few different places, then decide what to do from there.

    Here a pic of mine I did back in 09, I got quoted $595 from a local bodyshop. I just bought some sliders and you can even notice it now.

    Just dented mine a little bit a few weeks ago. Not as bad as your's, but yes, def time for some sliders

    I also dented mine. It sucks that all of us now buy sliders after the damage.:mad:

    EDIT: OP atleast you still have the paint on there. Just buff it out.

    That's good advice. A little elbow grease and some sliders or steps will hide 98% of that. :thumbsup:

    once you get sliders on there youll never notice it. IMO not worth the money to fix it...

    besides, it adds character and chicks dig body damage

    last question the paint is cracked so water can get in there whats the best way to seal it up?

    I feel your pain, similar situation. I dented my driverside rear quarter panel and destroyed rear bumper. It just gave me a reason to save up and get a high clearance bumper and cut the rear quarter panel. IMHO sliders and armor are a must and a first if you are going to off-road. Heck I still working on getting my lift. My truck is pretty much stock except for sliders and skids. All have saved my truck from damage. Just wish I had a high clearance bumper.

    someone give me some ideals on how to seal it up so it will not rust (as fast) and i can keep water out of there please. the paint is cracked and water can run in to it.

    Sand down the bad pait (to the metal), prep it for paint then paint it.
