    just installed my streamlight stinger led flashlight charger/holder in truck. now i dont have to worry about charging at the house.

    that's pretty cool! i have a 5-11 tactical light i wanted to mount there, but the light is much bigger than your stinger. i think i would have mounted the light horizontal, maybe even nose down a bit, for easier grabbage.

    i will mount my light at the rear of the center console.

    what did you tap the wiring into? did you use the 12v plug wiring or did you tap into a constant power source?

    havent wired yet. got get the new charger cord ordered. didnt realize the dog chewed it up while sitting in the garage. tap into a constant 12v source.

    stingers flashlights. a few years ago, i bought four of them from basspro. you can get the polystinger for around $80..the alum one the OP has is more $$.

    for the money, do a search on the 5-11 tactical light. from flat dead to full charge in 90 seconds. how? no batteries. it uses capacitors. bright as hell. i have the big one, but the smaller unit is about the size of the stinger.

    that came with xsp package on the truck. not that big of deal to me.
