Soo im working on a insert for you guys but i need some measurements the inside diameter center, top to bottom and left to right, I know not everyones will be the same because it is custom i just need a idea how much difference there is out there. i was thinking of putting tabs you can bend to fit yourself here is my idea and sugestions would help.

    PAGE 6 FOR SOME PICTURES!!!

You may have seen my other thread i did as inserts http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/124671-just-finishe-up-my-custom-grille.html i want to offer a solution for this grille too with the lower peice here is my idea? same as the last just no trim around it!!

Can you put the neat looking Toyota T in the middle of it? But either way looks nice, and I'd be interested.

Looks good! I might be interested as well if the price is right. You should think about selling the hood scoop one as well or like a 3-piece set for the upper, lower, and hood scoop grill inserts!!;)

Glad you are considering making these as I really liked the look of your prototype. Also nice to see the tabs as they will clean up the mounting and would be the reason I would buy this over something else.

I suggest against the tabs in the 4 corners because they won't bend nicely. You would get a "hard" corner instead of the radius to match the grill cutout. 3 on top and bottom, 2 on each side. Also, I suggest you line the tabs up with the thickest edge sections. Look at where the center top tab is compared to the other two top tabs. Using the location that the center tab is in will better hide the screw behind it used for securing the tabs. Just my opinions...

I can grab some dims for you in the next few days. Even have some 24" calipers so you'll get an exact number.

I like how tuff that emblem is it would be cool to do as a separate piece. Not sure if it would be legal but very cool.

This would help a ton with a few pictures. If you could write your dimensions right on my drawing that would be great
