I'm glad I found this thread. Now I know who the a$$holes are...

The next time I have someone call me with a computer problem, and they tell me it only happens "sometimes", I can tell them:

"Hey, it must be user error, because Microsoft Windows is PERFECT."

    No.

The next time someone calls you saying they intend to sue microsoft because it posted child porn online without them knowing, you can say

"Hey, it must be user error, because it's proven microsoft cant post child porn without the user doing the posting, and you sir are an idiot for making shit up and trying to fraudulently sue a reputable company for your stupidity"

To be clear, I'm not talking about the idiot who can't tell that the foot is somehow pressing the accelerator. I happened to be a passenger in my friend's Taco, when this happened to him. No carpet, Rhino-Lined, and we pulled over while the RPMs were steady at 5k, and put it in Park. Killed the engine, restarted, and the RPMs climbed to 5k, then dropped to normal idle RPMs.

From what I understand, it hasn't happened since. The point is, it's possible. I'd never believe it have I weren't there that day. Having said all that, I still bought me a Taco :p
