if u have locker ... do u have lsd?

    I have the e-locker in my offroad access cab,but it seems to work as a lsd when in unlocked mode......wut up?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    on the 05-08s have open, LSD, or e-locker....09+ have the auto LSD on everything and just the e-locker in the TRD OR.

    an 05-08 w/ the e-locker and it off is open

    So how bout the front diff? When I engage the locker, all 4 wheels spin. Ill dig myself into the dirt with all four wheels.

    Front diff is OPEN in ALL tacomas from the factory.

    Did you buy the truck used? Unless the person before you put something in there, its hard to say WHAT it is. You gotta give us more information.

    Differential Breather Mod Light Bar: 4 Cree LED lamps Bilstein 5100s Ride Rite Air Bags
    Typically when one becomes stuck... one tire per axle has less traction than the other so you see one spinning in the front and one spinning in the rear. This is open differentials.

    A-TRAC or LOCKERS elimintate non traction tires from spinning so torque goes to tires with traction and you drive out.

    Limited Slip system REDUCE torque to non trction tires and divert some to traction tires to help you move on.
