I just bought a 2011 JBL Stereo. I am using an after market adapter for my iPOD and AUX input as of right now. I was curious if someone could enlighten me on how the stock AUX adapter hooked up to the JBL Stereo. Is it just a simple cable? Is there a separate adapter? My aftermarket works just fine for now, but I am wondering if it would be worth utilizing the stock connection for the AUX and trading down for an adapter for just the iPod. My current unit is the XIA-I01, which is good for AUX, iPOD, XM, and LCD Screen. I would be looking for something that is strictly for an iPod. Any input, pictures, or specifications would be greatly appreciated.

Did your 2007 truck orginally come with JBL?

Yes it did. I don't have the blank for the AUX port, but just need the cable that plugs into the back of the stereo and then I will solder up the connection myself so it works with the location that I have already modified. Any Ideas?
