the thing is supposed to swirl the air to allow for better atomization of the air/ fuel mixture, which it does if the injectors are mounted in the throttle body itself ( like in my 89 pathfinder which has 2 injectors for the whole engine mounted in the center of the throttle body) in todays cars, however, the throttle body is mounted so far upstream of the actual fuel itself, it does swirl the air, but it does not mix the air and fuel the same way it would in the previous vehicle example...in that case it would make (and does make ) a huge difference...

    just my $.02...

as stated before, in fuel injection engines they are pointless. in carb engines they can work

i thought they were made so you can tap into them for spray without having to actually drill a hole in your intake?

If you reread my post I was referring to a fuel injected engine, with the fuel injectors in the throttle body...not a carbed engine...

Ah yes...The 'ol Trottle body injection. Yes...They work on those. Still dont get the hp claims though, and it also depends on how long the intake runners on the engine are, as to weather or not significant gains can be had.

Funny how nothing's changed in the almost two years since I last said that tb spacers are a freaking waste of money.

What about the sweet wire spacers?

Install them anywhere you see wires for a great gain compared to other aftermarket modifications.
