very nice. I like the look of a rack in bed, I mean a ski rack in the bed of a truck . Looks good though, have fun in Tahoe! Where you gonna be boarding at?

this^

I have a roof rack and cant tell you how much noise there is (with a fairing). Plus the gas mileage decreases quite a bit. Road debris is bad too. I usually only keep the rack on until winter (for my bikes) and put my skis inside my car. Salt will screw up a board or skis real fast

Both of you guys are correct

Yeah..Im not using my OEM roof rack because I lost a lot of mpg last season when I went up to Tahoe every week. I noticed a big difference. Also, my brand new 2010 tacoma roof was getting scratched up from the bindings.
