I assume you are 4x4 for that quoted price... I am guessing it is for Oil, air filter, spark plugs, front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid, and possibly cabin air filter. Plus the inspection of a bunch of stuff.

My dealer did it for around $300. I would get a quote from another dealer.

The newer trucks have "fuel induction service" as a callout item and it's roughly a $150 line.

EDIT: No it doesn't. I was mistaken. I just went out and double checked. It's not there.

Once again everyone it depends on what is done.. At that price they aren't just doing an oil change. I am willing to bet that includes rotate, spark plugs, air filter, oil change, front diff, rear diff, transfer case, and possibly transmission fluid if its a manual. Keep in mind you are paying them for parts and labor. Labor I would bet is something in the range of 3-4 hours. And depending on the going rate in your area, its probably something like 80-100 per hour. This is FLAT RATE time. Doesnt mean it takes them 3-4 hours. The tech probably bangs it out in 1.5.

    I lied.

This is what I was refering to.

    http://www.bgfindashop.com/bgservices/fuelair.htm

I just went out and paged thru my maintenance guide and it is NOT in there. I think I got the impression it was in there from some previous 30k service thread where some dealer recommended it, and I looked it up at that time.

All the same, it's pointless to bash the quoted cost without seeing the itemized list of what's being included.
