Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
i try to go about 55-60 about half the time on the highway but the other half the time i have my foot in it and im always playing with the truck somewhere so if i had better habits i would bet i could average 18.

But with similar driving i would easily be getting 4-5 mpg better in my 2012 auto than the 6spd truck.

towing is basically a wash, and city is close. but hwy the auto shits all over the 6spd, as well as stop and go city

no doubt, it hurts the pocket book.. and im not rich by any means.

but i would rather pay a few extra dollars to enjoy it more, rather than be frustrated having the auto..

Dont get me wrong the 5spd auto is a great auto :)

Yeah, thankfully the road my girlfriend lives on is 55 mph so I got better mpg on that road than the interstate in my 6 speed..

Now if Toyota made a 5 speed standard V6... I would be all over it.

    Longbed is 100 percent win.

So shortbed is 80 percent fail.

Longbeds are 20 percent less truck.

From 1979-95 toyota short beds were 6ft. Then people no longer wanted trucks. So long beds went away and extra short beds came to play. If its not 6ft it should be a 4runner. Or havea trunk in the bed and come with a free trailer.

The bed is the only thing people seem to want less of on trucks these days and I don't get it. The bed makes the truck a truck.

^^ the trend is to be less useful..

    which explains the dog purse..

are they a standard feature with short beds yet? or do they still come with fanny packs?

Obama won the election. . That doesn't make him a good choice.

52 percent of the US pays no income tax. That doesn't make it right since the rest of us have to pay for thier lackluster.

The majority of the population is dumber than a box of rocks and believes any and everyone can go buy full auto assault rifles and blindly have opinions on guns, yet have no experience, training, or knowledge of them.

Most crack heads still buy crack and most people who use tobacco continue even though its pretty well proven that it is a bad idea.

    Longbed greater than shortbed
Shortbed equals the demise of America

Duck faced teens, emo music, suicide, crying in public and being a pussy with you heart on your sleeve and not working for anything are also becoming very popular. . Would you like to ride that bandwagon too? Ill mix up the koolaid while I chase my tail.

Its not an 8 foot ugly sore of a bed, ita what until recently has been standard size for a truck bed. Usually even called a short bed. But we have to draw the line somewhere, next your 5 foot bed will shrink to 4feet. And then you will be driving an H3, and at some point its going to come down to ford fiesta pickups with plush ride and lots of gizmos. Don't worry, the ULEV stickers will be in the window and they will emit nothing but smug fruitcake fumes into the wind.

Snookie is the thing that is going to rise up to lead the short bed owners.

This poll proves that the average person should not be aloud in public without thier drool gaurd, pocket protector, helmet and superwide tampons because they are not qualified to pick 50/50 choice and are at serious risk for thier own safety.

This is why we have no space program. People don't know what to do, common sense is just 51.58 percent shy of the whole bunch apparently.

We will round down to 25 percent. We can give the credit to the people who have real a reason to go for a short bed. The rest are groupies.

Turbo blue race gas. Put it in my cereal in the morning when I got up an hour ago.

Now I'm looking for my welfare bear because I need some nicotine, then I am looking for some stuff for my achy knees and spine. Then I'm cleaning the junk out of my truck, and have ebay etc to take care of, and probably going o do some drywall in my hallway tonight.
